Göcek, Fethiye and the bays in between

Twelve islands sit inside Göcek bay alone, and most of them have an anchorage that stays flat when the meltem gets up in the afternoon.

This is the coast we know best. A week here is usually a slow one: pine down to the waterline, water warm enough to swim into October, and a supper ashore at a jetty restaurant that has been in the same family for thirty years.
